Directly supervises employees in the G&A Department in accordance with Clear Channel's policies and applicable laws. Interviews, hires, trains, governs, assigns, appraises performance, disciplines, discharges and rewards employees; addresses employee complaints and resolves problems. Responsible for monthly financial close, maintenance of the general ledger, reconciliation of accounts and analysis of costs and explanation of variance to budget and actual. Ongoing improvement of accounting controls and other financial and administrative practices and procedures. Prepare all financial reports, forecasts, cash flow, weekly pacing and annual budget. Provide General Manager with timely reviews of station's financial status and progress in various programs and activities. Review accounts payable, purchasing, payroll, cash receipts, petty cash credit and collections, accounts receivable and billing activity. Monitor and counsel Department heads regarding fiscal responsibilities. Responsible for administration and control of employee personnel records, I-9's, medical information and authorizes access to same. Administer insurance coverage for protection against property losses and potential liabilities. Responsible for posting of required notices at station location. Prepare annual property tax statements. Liaison between the station and regional/corporate office regarding business issues involving financial, personnel, legal, FCC regulations, etc. Assist General Manager and other Department heads as needed. Maintain EEO program, FCC related reports and hiring procedures; oversee or act as EEO Administrator. Conduct new employee orientation and review new hire package for completeness and appropriate signatures. Respond to employment verifications and job reference requests. Prepare employee separation documentation. Maintain employee vacation schedule. |
